Name: Lillian Conlon Dates: Birth date: June 1, 1930 Death date: August 14, 2012 Obituary: SCRANTON-Lillian Conlan, 82, formerly of Plane Street, Avoca, died Tuesday at Allied Skilled Nursing, Scranton. Born in Moosic on June 1, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Ambrose S. and Lillian (Neiman) Conlon. She was a graduate of College Misericordia and a member of St. Mary’s Church. Prior to moving back to Avoca in 1965, she was employed as a nurse at N.I.H. Bethesda, MD. She was preceded in death by her brother Ambrose Conlan, Jr. and nephew Joseph Conlon. She is survived by 4 nephews. A graveside service will be held Friday at 9:45 a.m. in St. Catherine’s Cemetery, Moscow. Kniffen O’Malley Funeral Home, Inc., Avoca, is in charge of arrangements.
